Fred has been a yacht broker/yacht sales business owner since 1996 and is known by his customers and peers for his passion for boating and quality vessels, intense focus, deep and current knowledge of yachts, and his immeasurable degree of integrity. Fred possesses a wealth of boating, operational, and mechanical knowledge that has culminated over a marine-based career and on-water lifestyle of over 40 years.
Fred’s primary concern for his buying clients is the suitability of the purchase to meet their unique individual needs and preferences. Your relationship with Fred goes beyond the purchase of your yacht – his attention to detail with ongoing concerns, upgrades, and assistance with maintenance requirements are part of his service commitment to ensure a continued enjoyable boat-owning experience. His unique professional credentials include work as a Commercial Oil Field Saturation Diver and Diving Superintendant, a Surveyor for Lloyd’s of London, and conducting inspections for the DNV, and the US and Canadian Coast Guard.
When not working, Fred is passionate about getting into the outdoors and enjoys trials bike riding – particularly in the Beaufort Range – hiking or mountain biking, and as a former Formula 1 race boat driver, he of course loves going FAST!
